At Brookside we do not beleive that assisted living and independent living are mutually exclusive. We beleive that anyone of any ability should have opportunities for a sense of purpose and fullfllment.
We have designed our independent supportive and assisted living programs to stay as independent and engaged as possible. Our staff provide a compassionate intutitive way of delivering care including building meaningful relationships with residents that build trust and a better way of delivering care.
Our Story
In the mid-1990s Brookside Manor was purpose-built by local developers. They found the most perfect setting to build a retirement community adjacent to mature trees, nature, ponds, and walking baths. Some would say that it's Kanata's best-kept secret.
In the early 2000's it was purchased and continued to be operated by Chartwell, known as Chartwell Kanata Retirement Residence.
Now locally owned and managed by local senior living experts. Grandview Senior Living has built a team with years of senior living experience and best practices in eldercare.
